Default Which make & model 20" LCD to buy?

For photography editing & viewing, which make & model is recommended?

BTW which is the most suitable aspect ratio, 4:3 or 16:9?

    Thanks.

Aspect ratio must see if your card can support the native resolution. As for brand and model, choose one that has a good pixel defect policy.

I would recommend the Dell 20" Widescreen LCD or the 24". I personally use the 24" and it's a great monitor when doing things like mass image processing as I can open many windows at once in an organized fashion.

I have budget of under S$900/- so 24" is out and I am getting a new graphic so not an issue here on compatibility.

How important is the pixel pitch (horizontal & vertical)?
    Brightness 250 nits enough?
    Contrast ratio of 700 enough?

I believe aspect ratio is not an issue here, rite?

I have Dell, LG, Viewsonic, Benq and Samsung for consideration.

How much is an apple 20" LCD? Compatible with PC?

Many thanks for replies & advises so far.
