HI anyone. Hope im not repeating a question ....... does a tele converter affect the appeture of the lens? Say a canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS with a 2x converter?

It is aperture x power of the TC

EG: F2.8 with 2xTC = F5.6

the TC would cut the amount of light thus you need to compensate by 2 stops for a 2X TC
