70-200 is good... but its big! the 50-150 may get more good pics cos its protable
i also find my 70-200 VR a bit underused cos of its size.

i will still say 70-200, dun really find it really that heavy or really too big. but then again, different sizes can be relatively different in different people's eyes, if you try the 70-200 and find to size or weight ok, just go with it so you wun be in the side worrying about crop sensors getting extinct(though i doubt that would happen).

otherwise, just go to canon and buy the 5200mm f14. if still not enuf, plus another 2x convertor, so becomes 10400mm f28 ![]() plus on 1.6x, hmmmmmmmm that will be 16640mm. Last edited by satay16; 15th September 2006 at 11:21 PM. |

ok. ....very OT..... . anyway, 70-200 is my choice. find it strange to actually have tele range lens made for APS-C. most of the time, they only make it for wide lenses as to expose the whole fullframe CCD for wide is very expensive. true that 50-150 would be compact, but TS go try both lenses, if handling is ok for both, get the 70-200, ..........or 80-400![]() |

Hmmm would u guys consider selling a afd 80-200 2.8 to get a sigma 70-200 if its underused? still got balance to get sth else.
and if the paint starts to peel off the sigma, is it covered under warranty? |

why sell AFD 80-200 f2.8 for Sigma 70-200 f2.8? when both are very close. if i got a AFS 70-200 VR and it is underused i might change but not for a AFD 80-200 since they are so close and makes not much difference for a change |
