How about Bose Companion 3 ?

The altec would still lose out to the Acoustic Energy Aego 2.

    Bose is over rated.

    Any audiophile will say this.

If its just normal listening stereo 2.1 - Bose AM5 Series 3 + Audiolab integrated amplifier would be a good combo ...

If its a small room, the Z5500 would be enough. If the TS is after the yamaha .. its even a better choice. Using yamaha + klipsch + svs for my living room ...

Sim Lim Tower... look out for the beldens.. really value for money. These are used in most commercial applications / installations. They're hard to beat. Using them for my rear / rear centre channels.

I got mine from Sim Lim Tower #02-07. Got mine there a year back - helpful and friendly service.

Yup.. aego2 is good, am happy with my purchase. I think its good enough for a typical hdb bedroom too.

Some of klipsch's models are'nt too bad either but IIRC they are more expensive than aego2.
