Default Sony F828 + Metz 54 MZ-4i + 3602 M4

Hi,

I have owned Sony F828 for the past 2 years or so and today I bought Metz Flashlight 54 MZ-4i with SCA 3602 M4 adapter.

I insert 4 AA Energizer Alkaline batteries and mount the flashlight on the camera. I plugged the cable to ACC jack and put the Hotshoe to be [OFF] in the camera setup.

I turned on the flash and put into TTL mode. I saw the light in the adapter red colour (not blinking). However, the flash ready indicator keep off (never on). Once in a while this indicator can light up and can take picture but after that it never on again (recycle time was too long).

When I on the flash without connecting to the camera, this flash indicator was never on either, so I cannot make a test flash. Is this normal ?

Please help. Do I need to use different type of batteries ?

Would appreciate any of your help.

Steven

Hi, I found the answer. I just changed all 4 batteries to new one and it now works normally. Forget the question above.
