S2006 IMF/World Bank conference FIREWORKS show

Hi all CSers and esp 'pyromaniacs',

Just for your info, there will be a Fireworks show being staged at Marina Bay on the 19th of September for the IMF/WB delegates as part of an official reception. The exact timing of the fireworks show has not been revealed, but it is between 8 - 10pm.

This event is not being publicised as it is meant for the delegates and the organising committee does not want big crowds gathering around Esplanade. However, if you do want to catch the show, please AVOID the Esplanade, Esplanade Bridge, One Fullerton and Merlion Park as they will be cordoned off to the public.

Sheares bridge or the new IR site should be a good vantage point as the show will invovle light/pyro effects around the Merlion. Hope to see some nice pictures of the event here.
