    I'd go with the f11 or F30 if you can afford it. For its price the noise control is one of the best.

    yeap f11. i bought both the f11 and f30. after using both, my conclusion that it is not worth paying extra for the f30. plus the f30 is made in china, f11 in japan.

    f11 - $399 w/512mb xd at MS
    f30 - $599 w/1gb xd at MS

    I go for F11 and I own one too.
    To add further, currently
    F11 = $399 and made in jap
    F30 = 4599 and made in china
    Both to compare I feel no much difference for my usage.
    Which you prefer?

    If there are really no differences, Fuji wouldn't have released the F30. The differences are in the features and it is up to the potential buyers to decide if those new features are useful to them or not. A detailed comparison of the differences in the features between these 2 cameras can be found here:
    http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilmf30/

    Basically the F30 has:
    (1) Higher max ISO setting
    (2) Better LCD screen - higher resolution and anti-glare and low reflection coating
    (3) New Super CCD HR VI - better than the old one on the F10/f11 according to comparison tests by dpreview
    (4) Much more scene modes
    (5) Intelligent flash mode
    (6) Ability to take 2 pictures automatially - one with flash and one without
    (7) New battery and better battery life
    (8) Slightly lighter
    (9) Better looking (subjective)

    In any case, even if you had wanted to pay less for your camera, you should have considered getting the F20 at least as it has the same CCD as the F30 and most (but not all) of the features as well.
