Hi all,
I have a Vivitar 100 - 300mm lens that I cannot mount on my 350d. Does anyone have a damaged/unusable EF lens (any) so that I can strip off the mount and use the lens as a manual lens? Please do tell me if anyone has tried this and had any success with it. Thanks! |

firstly, the lens was made for canon ef mount right? you don't want to be forcing some other mount down the body.

changing the mount is one thing
making sure your flange film distance is the same is another big thing you should consider. else your lens will not focus to infinity (or pass infinity) and is pretty much useless. |
