Arrow Question to fz1v2 owners

Question to fz1v2 owners:

it's been a long while since i took out my lumix fz1v2 for shooting. i realised that it's really very difficult to frame in low light. After AF lock, the image in the LCD becomes even darker. It's been some time since i used it, but is it suppose to be normal for an upgraded fz1? can't remember how the original firmware was like tough.

i also realised i now have to lower the LCD brightness to the minimum to accurately gauge exposure. is it normal for any of the fz1 users here?

to all fz1v2 owners, do share ure thoughts.
Thanks

i think focusing in very low light is a problem to most digital cam, not just fz. as for after AF locking, the preview LCD went dark is because i don think the camera is able to preview the captured image look with a flash used or under long exposure. so it will just show a dark image which is like previewing the shot under normal shooting setting without flash. thats my guess, it happen to fz5 as well.

Not sure but i tried an indoor shoot with my Fz5 sometime back, it was quite dark. Near pitch-black to do any candid shot on people...
