Cannot see images...

hi guys..... why is it so that images saved to the CF card from the PC ( in jpg) format cannot be view on the Canon EOS30D? Does this happen to all prosumer cams and any workaround?

the camera only recognises files put in certain folders and/or file names IIRC..
