D80 in stores yet?

Is the D80 out in stores yet? Anyone got the price of the D80 body in AP or MS? If not in stores, when is the expected release date?

they have been in stores since last Thurs. My best bet is that the next shipment could be on Thurs.

Most of the store will properly has a few units only because most of the units will probably reserved for comex show. If you can get those unit now, it will be very lucky and the price is lower then the show without the freeby. If you are not urgent, probably wait for a few week to see more available stock coming....

yes, normally the demand and supply will stabalise out (How long, it'll depend on production rates of the D80) and then prices may even drop slightly lower that current market rates.

If you have reserved a set, that you'll have a chance. From what I heard, everywhere has ran out of stocks, or are reserved. Place your name to reserve one set from the next shipment lor.

Went to Max Photo at Centerpoint just now. They also quoted me 1580 for the body. Didn't ask if they got stock or not because I still deciding between Sony Alpha or the D80.

open market. call oracle and sykestang to compare prices and see who ayour are comfortable with. nothing's or no one is going to stop you. At the end of the day, it's your $$ afterall.
