Default RSAF Open House, some of my shots

Decided not to go for the obvious, as in trying to take shots of the static display from other angles.

I liked the angular lines of the tailboom

The "eyes" of the gunship

The classic Hunter's graceful shape & lines never fails to amaze me.

A recently retired workhorse, the Skyhawk

A view of the inflight refueling probe of the Skyhawk. Shame they blanked off the intakes

Hmm everyone seems to be fascinated by the Apache's laser targeting system... haha!

More shots, this time of the F-16 Block 52 & Block 52+(the newer ones with the CFTs)

The Block 52+'s ungainly shape somehow appeals to me. When seen from full on front, it's got a squat stance that seems to say "Don't f**k with me buddy!"

The earlier Block 52 seems scrawny when compared to the newer additions to the Viper family.

The erm... bum of an F-16 is interesting, I must say.

The smooth intake and it's unique shape makes the F-16 seem like it's smiling when viewed headon.

Well, for starters, it did give a nice reflective surface that serves as a perfect frame for people photography except it's a pity there were too many people there, thereby causing some people to be outta frame somewhat. Hahahaha. Ah well, part of the challenges of photography I guess.

What about airshow pics? I'm living near Paya Lebar and I hear Helicopters/jets flying at low altitudes (100m or so) every now and then! LOL!

Panzerpunk, I took all the walkaround pics, deciding not to bring the teles. But yea, the aircraft were flying low, which was nice. A straight vertical upon takeoff, something the public doesn't get to see much of.

Anyway, a few more pics....

A sleek beauty, the F-5S seems low when you compare it with the F-16. Slick nonetheless.

Lovely!

I'm one of the culprits!

G-man, hope you don't mind my photo. If you do, I'll remove it.
