Some snaps from the COMEX 2006

Went there yesterday, didn't buy anything though. Checked out those new cameras, especially the Nikon D80, Canon 400D, Sony Alpha and Pentax K100D. Quite like the Nikon D80, but the Pentax K100D was my favorite pick for an entry level dSLR camera (I'm a Pentax user).

Couldn't stay long, snapped some models along the way when walking around, my flash was kind harsh. It's so crawded there, All shots are only head and shoulder only. Anyway, here are some to share. Hope you like them.

All shots were taken by Pentax Ds and a tiny 77mm lens. Compare to those big C/N guys, I'm just too small to attract more models there

I was there yesterday also. Pentax did a good job compared to the past. They have all the Pentax DA lenses on display! And most importantly K100D is there!..

By the way, what flash unit you used for these shot?.. built-in?

Yes, I think the new agent is trying to bring more Pentax stuff in, and they've done a better job then what J&J did before. I quite like the K100D camera.

I used Pentax AF360FGZ flash.

Thanks Melvin. Hope you like some of them Did you get any bargain at the Show? I didn't, although quite tempted by Memory World's great offers for those cheap SD cards, but I got enough SD cards already ...

Thanks Minlon. Glad you like them. I didn't plan to shoot either, but my camera is in the backpack (well, I always carry my camera with me, that's why I chose Pentax, small and light ), so I just started to shoot around after testing out those C/N/S/P new cameras

No, I didn't know any of them. And yes, most them were quite friendly, but some of them did turn down my request (of taking a photo or two). Normally I just asked them for permission, and as usual, most models were willing to pose for me ...
