Default Camera + housing recommendation

hey guys...

i want to start simple... probably look fora simple set of equipment to start with first...

i am not too sure.. will 3M pixel camera with a UW casing be enough to take decent pictures underwater... of course i believe that i cant go too deep... maybe around the 15m range...??

any recommandation of tried and tested pairing that will work?

Actually, almost any camera with underwater housing also can use.... however, if u dive deeper or do very close up shoots then a external strobe is recommended (depending on the camera settings).....

This picture is taken 2 years back in Manado with my Nikon coolpix 3200 PNS 3.2 megapix cam and housing. The whole setup cost me about $600 then. Judge for yourself if the quality of the picture is good enough for you. I have done some simpe post processing for the pics (mainly croping and minor colour adjustment)
