Can Nikon 6T add on the 105mm VR lens?

They are the same thread size, 62mm.

Yes, anything in the path of light will affect the quality. Obviously, Nikon 6T will affect the sharpness of 105mm VR lens. But, when you need photo more close up than 1:1, you can considering Nikon 6T, as excessive cropping on photo is degrade the quality also.

Remember, working distance will decrease with additional close-up filter Nikon 6T.

Doable,

but the 105 already is a macro why still add 6T?
