Thanks everyone for your comments.

There are lots of spiders in my area, esp in my yard where I found it. As for the setup, spider like this fella are pretty jumpy but with food in his mouth, he is less mobile. So I carefully place/trap him in a disposable plastic container and shoot away. Releasing it afterwards.

As said, when taking flowers and fruits always have a water spray handy to spray misty droplets of water on your subjects. I guess for spider (like this one) it is handly to have a container to hold it temporary.
