I have my reservations about how useful aperture priority shooting would be for a wide 28 or 35 mm lens. Anyway I wanted a point and shoot which I could load with 1600 film, for those situations where the IXUS would not be able to cut it.
    2 questions

1)Where did you get your mjuII?
2)Any keepers so far from it?

Sorry, did not realize there were questions addressed to me in this thread.

    1. Which situations? Simple - very low light situations, where an mju II loaded with Ilford 3200 should give sharp, low grain handheld pictures as compared to the IXUS, which might even have difficulty focusing in the first place.

    2. Bought for $140 at AP.

    3. Hmmm, I'm now on exposure No. 8 on my first roll of film. Will let you know if there are any keepers.

    4. Sometimes I bring only the mju, sometimes only the IXUS, sometimes both.

    5. Yes, this is the non-zoom, 35mm f2.8 version. I wanted the large aperture (although an f1.8 P&S would be even better).
