    now this looks promising.. looks kinda like the older cameras... nice...

    my only gripes
    - 8second shutter speed only??
    - Why MMC??? it looks like quite a big camera, use CF or something...

    I'd want an interchangeable lens digital rangefinder based on either the Leica M6 or Voigtlander Bessa R. I wonder why no manufacturer makes them, it's probably a LOT easier and cheaper to make than SLRs no?

    It's a Panasonic camera, BTW. Compare it with the Lumix line. Note the buttons.

    (There is no way Leica, who took forever to implement a motor drive in the R8, is going to have the technology to have an AUTO FOCUSING DIGITAL camera)

    Batteries to power the CCD/CMOS/LCD and electronics, mechanics to power the shutter, your finder to change aperture/focus.
