    Ok, so I think I can try using exposure bracketing too. thanks for the tips!

    sweet, still think that yr 1st pic has got more HDR effect.... may be u want to try merging 5 pics into one HDR, just suggesting...

    Recently i got interested in the HDR processing too and i did a landscape + portrait using HDR for the first time. The pics can be viewed inside my blog entry.
    Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field.

    Maybe. But there are places that suggest to omit those extra images which have ranges already covered.

    this time just used 3 pic, 1EV apart, but colour looks abit funny, is this normal ??? no PS done, just straight from photomatix. anything I can improve plse ??

    I tried at dusk and nite, the DR is not that high, so no good.

    Will try at noon time...

    Saw night HDR before and they are nice too. Gonna try again when I got the time to shoot around again

    Maybe you wanna adjust the white clip and black clip and see can reduce the dark spots. Can try the other options as well.

    yeah, can actually use the the same RAW file, increase and decrease the exposure and convert them into different files to be generated for the HDR.

    Nite HDR is good only if the exposure can be very long, to capture the detail in the dark corners.....my S3 IS can only expose up to 15 sec nia.....so out for me...

    S3 IS, no RAW mode....
