Shade loving butts from MNT (plus the branded imperial above). That explains the less than ideal dark background.

Malay Viscount:

Common Faun:

Thanx sharpion. rules of the third ya? i would try my best possible to compose it nicely. but most of the time, it's really a 1 shot 1 kill kinda of thing. they get startled easily and i will be cursing why i din't fire earlier

Very nice and pleasing shots there.
A bit more DOF for #1 will be better.

Yup, agreed. The forewing is OOF. This was shot ff and hence the DOF is very shallow. Going F/16 or more might render the shot useless at that time

Wong ,

Good sharp shots!

Malay Viscount and Malay Lacewing 3 D approach can do with a bit more DOF and in the other side shots, butts not parallelwith the sensor hence some OOF areas.

Unless intentionally taking an oblige shot for the 3 D presentation , in most instnaces parallel- -with-the-wing shot is the best approach in attending a balance of DOF and BG.

Keep them coming! You are improving by leaps and bounds!
