A R1 body with interchangable lens!!!
Wat do u think of this new breed of camera? I'm just dreaming up this type of camera but if there really is, it will really be interesting! Imagine a super wide angle CZ lens... And I'll buy for sure! Drool...... ![]() Last edited by weekh; 21st August 2006 at 12:38 AM. |

I don't see such a model coming out. If you want interchangeable lenses there's always SLRs.

we never know, there may be such a chance that Sony remove the mirror all together and using EVF or LCD as view finder replacement.

But I guess some prefer the viewfinder still, theyd really pull something off if they can do both. Anyway my only comment about the R1 and why I sold mine, is that damn viewfinder location, its pretty annoying. The Mamiya style hip shot is novel for your first 50 shots or so and looked cool. But after that its dumb, and viewing the thing from the back with the LCD on top is so disconcerting. I really hope they fix that on the next incarnation. I could live with the single lens if its the same lens, its damn good already. |

i really hope Sony will continue to improve upon the R1.
But I doubt they will do so. Let's wait and see if they announce any news before the photokina. |
