contributing a shot from early this year, taken at the corridor of my flat in Punggol at 180mm with 2 exposures ...

Nice view from your window. You exposed for the moon & then exposed for the water?

cerebrus: that's right, those are the 2 exposures ... it was from the corridor, not window, my window view isn't that nice

At first, when I log on the your post.
I saw the upper portion of the photo, it's a moon. I tell myself, it is normal.

But when I scroll down and see the whole image.......

middle section is rather empty.. may be an crop away to "lower" the moon.

Hmmm.... I actually like it this way. Gives me a sense of space, makes the moon feel really far away.

Same as Tiger King.... After scrolling down... it add the mood to the picture.

This is a nice one. Great composition and point of view, what is the setting you use ? wide angle lens?

the moon is left at where it was intentionally, the space is intentional. the composition appeals to me, also i shot this to remember this view from my flat's corridor

thanks JKpicture it was done with 2 exposures, D70s+180mm macro lens, on a tripod. the rivermouth was exposed for 20 secs and moon at 1/50sec if i remember correctly ... too long ago
