Been using R1 for sometime now and am really impressed by its performance with regard to flare and CA. So far it has never failed me in any backlighting condition. Outperform many systems such as the Olympus E system Canon EOS with L lenses / CZ lens / Leica lenses.

R1 is using CZ lens.
But when I use some CZ lens on the EOS, I can detect CA under certain conditions. Canon is the worse in the CA department even with their top L lenses. I suspect Sony and CZ had designed the R1 CZ lens to be used on digital sensor. Although Olympus claims that their E system is designed for digital, purple fringe does occur under certain condition and they look very bad. There're NO CA on the windows. |

I'm just wondering how does the A100 and the Sony lenses fair in CA and flare control.
