Default Bali Bali

Hi,

I just came back from Tulamben, Bali. Nice place except for the dreadful walk to the dive sites... ouch.

Did not see any special stuff but the dive was not bad.

Here are some photos taken during the trip. Please tell me how to improve.

Mugshot of a leaffish

Some Hingebeak Shrimps. There were loads of them at the cleaning station!

Yawn ribbon eel ;-p

Longnose Hawkfish

The rest of the photos are here:

Yeah, I was quite happy how the details of the eye turned out especially on the picture with the solo shrimp.

I was at Tauch Terminal Bali. They are located about 120m south of the Liberty Wrack site.

Their website is here : http://www.tauch-terminal.com/english/

They do about 5 dives a day including night dives. They organise day trip to Nusa Penida for Sunfish hunting as well.

Hope you'll enjoy your Bali trip too.

I was there from 09-Aug to 13-Aug. Not sure if you were there during the same time or not.

On 11-Aug afternoon, we saw some divers running across the streets back to Tulamben Wreck Divers in wetsuits and all.... not sure if you were one of them..

Hey, nice shots of the sunfish. I did not do the day trip to Nusa Penida for sunfish hunting coz I was not sure if I could handle the cold water....What a pitty...

I was there 11-15 Aug...met a Singaporean diving couple in TWD, wonder if they are in CS too?

Also saw a group of asian divers carrying big cameras at Tulamben drop off, really reminds me of underwater Aur/Dayang with all the incessant tank banging and horns , wonder if it helps to attract fishes?

There was this caucasian diver at the resort that went down with 2 sets of cameras. 1 Nikon DSLR with twin strobe and another with a single strobe. Of course, the dive guide help him with one of the camera.

I quickly hide my little toy...
