u can start off with a Inon D2000 with a 10bar base tray and flexi arm, with the sync cord, i think it'll be below 1k.

a very powerful set up already, more option to upgrade later on

as long as the strobe can be triggered via fibre optic cable or like, it can work for your camera. if you do intend to upgrade, it would be good if your strobe can stay with your new setup. depends on ur budget tooo la.

my opinion is, if u wanna ttl in future, then it'd be good to get an ikelite strobe, which only change of cords will allow you to either manual control, or do ttl if you ever change to an ike housing setup with ttl.

if ur upgrade plan does not possibly include ttl, d180 (s or no s) will also be able to yield quite decent results

Woah! Tks for all da tipz.
Havnt go to Oceanics yet but the cost has oredi increased with every posting.

As I have not dived for such a long time, I truly believe it's safer for me to go for another OW training again. Some gears are still around but I doubt they r still workin. So I need to do alot heavy shoppin for gear and stuff.

Well, I'll see how it comes along. Some many helpful buddies here sure assures me alot.
Cya in the water one day.

Just asking, Since Blu's bro got the diving strobe for his T-30, can Blu just get a casing for the E-330 and use that set of strobe?
