apache longbows. those radome on top of the rotor blades made it distinguishable. i wonder what is that black spot on the lower right...

No, what I see is protection. This is to tell crooks that we can defend ourselves....dun play play...
 Just like when you are in a dark alley and you feel there are some threats lurking in the corner, I am sure you will pick up something (a tree branch, rod...ect) for self-defence. But do you think you are trying to show off your destructive capability? Just some food for thought.
