Default Tripod for FZ7

Any good recommendation?
SLIK SDV-10? Digipod TP-1300? SteinZeiser SZ-02? Sakure TR-100?

Budget: below $100

Err relax relax im not so serious about it. [if i sell it now what tripod will i use? ]

Well for FZ the recommended setup might be a Slik Sprint Pro with a Giottos MH1002 ball head, which is what im using now for my D70...

Unless of course you're abit advanced you could also try the Slik 330DX, which is a good and sturdy tripod if you so wish for an upgrade to a DSLR in the near term. (330DX is a tripod i want to get as well, but im short of cash)

Btw if you interested in my tripod (minus ball head) can always pm me!

IIRC the tripod itself at CP should cost less than when i bought it, which was around $90 something...kinda forgotten how much the ball head costs though..

But that depends also how often you use the tripod... even if you get super stable one, if you dont use it that often theres no productivity coming out of it..

from the looks ppcp tripod looks like the 340dx (4sections compared to 330dx 3sections) thus my guess is not as stable as 330dx. but for that price its pretty well worth it considering that ballhead (design looks like the 1 that came with sprint pro but of bigger size, my sprint pro ballhead worn out slightly after light usage ). don mean to say its not good but thats what i think from purely looking at it(don ask me, i nv touch it be4). its cheap, good and light.
if you are a freaquent tripod user might advise would be go for slik 330dx + manfrotto 486RC2 ballhead (total up will be ard $230), personally i would luv to get the manfrotto 322RC2 instead. (luv the grip control, but cost nearly $200 )

dude, no funny question... slik sprint pro = brand + model already

ballhead and QR are two different things. QR is just a "two-piece" items where 1 part is attached to camera and another to ballhead so you can mount ur camera onto the ballhead or release faster. normally that one that is stick to your camera is called QR plate.
as for ballhead it is the stuff that is ontop of every tripod where you can rotate around. but some QR are joined up with the ballhead eg are manfrotto 486RC2
do a search and you know...

ok. here some pic on ball head and pan head . all pic temp borrow from BenRo

1) ball head w/Qr quit release plate

2)Ball head w/o Qr quit release plate

3)3way-pan head w/Qr quit release plate

as u see if u buy a 3 way pan head. there 2 knot for u to adj your angle. like release knot 1 adj
hoz first. then tighten. then relase knot 2 to adj verti. then tighten. like for a 30deg angle. abit mafan.

as u use a ball head u just untight a knot then u adj your angle then tighten e knot. or u can tight abit os u can turn or adj your cam anytime.

All to ALL itz up to your own . diff ppl got diff feel on e head

my 2cent ^^
