Default New Shooter!

Hello all,

I'm quite new to this forum.

Can somebody tell me where I can get Underwater Casings? I own a Canon A700.. Looking for a cheap and reliable case. Any shops other than Oceanic Focus?

Thanks.

first try seeing if canon makes their own housing for your cam.
den try searching www.digideep.com to see if there's a housing availible.

an alternative shop is scubacam.

if all else fails, then you'll have to resort to the very expensive ziplock bag: ewa marine packs. or DIY one yourself. or sell of that cam for another one that has a housing.

anyway, if anything, i'm sure the durex was made such that nothing would "shoot" thru it.

WARNING: it's not worth the money and effort

heh sorry, don;t think Canon ever intended to produce a housing for A700..they usually launch the housings together with the camera, and the camera would have the "underwater" mode. The A700 doesn't.

so i guess its either bite the US$400 bullet, or wait for new models from Canon.

Of course, you can also try the Fuji F30..my friend was using that for a trip. good macro AF, vivid colours. But WB is abit off sometimes.
