Lightbulb Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG macro and Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2

Currently on a very tight budget, instead of going for Canon EF 70 - 200 F4L, I have to select an alternative to L lens. I have shorlisted my lens choice to both TAMRON AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 and SIGMA AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG macro.

What do you guys think of this lens? I mainly use for motorsport, portrait and event shooting. Sometimes to shoot wildlife.

I need some feedback from those who own these lens before I decide on which one to get

Thanks.

FYI, I using Canon EOS 350D.
