Hi,
Although orchid gardens I went, didnt take much orchid. They are very difficult to compose due to their protrusions and indentations. =) It would be a standard record shot if everything is sharp and difficult to compose too with messy background. End up took those simple street side small tiny flowers. These are some ok shots from all the lousy ones I took that day. #1 "Yellow Explosion" ![]() #2 Fly on "Spaceship" I like this tiny flower very much. Very wierd shape. Will post more later. But these are usually found planted at LCK "u know what" ![]() #3 "Glowing Dove, Spreading Wings" Go Orchid Garden, must take one Orchid picture at least. So here it is. I like this picture because it seems a spot light (back lighted) was pointing to the "wings" of this dove I envisioned. And I shot from low angle to get as much DOF without compromising background. No flash but slightly dark background still due to white pastel petals. Hope you like it. May process more to post later. Best Regards, tltan |

#4 "Facing away"
![]() #5 "Wa^4 Ka^2 Li^4 Kong^4" (Hokkien for "I tell you ah") The flower looks like facing each other and communicating...or I am getting cranky..=p ![]() Regards, tltan |

Hi titan, if it is okay with you. Care to share which lens you used? I'm keen on macro shots.
