Default Macros from China

I just came back from a trip organized by luosangjian to Inner Mongolia and Ningxia. My first trip to China and it's a real eye opener Excellent trip. Along the way, snap some macros. Hope you enjoy them

Hi Melvin,
Happy is the macro-photographer who visits another country when the insects are out!
Nice shots...!
it's interesting that the hoverflies look similar from China to Asutralia.... Hey, why not send some to syrphidae.com?

Frank

Nice series Melvyn.
First time to China and you end up chasing bugs instead of sceneries?
Goes to show the dedication you have for macro.

thanks, have enjoyed this series. the light brown background is nice, i'd gotten so used to the green or black backgrounds in the majority of our insect shots here.
