The uniform looks abit off, esp the helmet. But the statue does look like it's from BG...

yo! finally got time to reply to this thread. Denizenx got it right, it's in a Thai Palace Park (can't remember the name), the place where they filmed Anna and the King. That's a Thai army uniform, hehe.

Thanks for your confidence in me, wolfie, this image indeed has no superimpose done on.

Actually, I thought there are too many distractions in the photo. I didn't have time to think and compose as my group was walking away already, so I just composed roughly and snap. I wished the leaves and lamp post weren't so prominent. Will a B&W work better?

Sometimes, the picture property tells a lot about the picture.

By the way Tweek, very good shot indeed. The statue seems to be smirking at the soldier, who in turn looked bewildered.
