So that makes the Olympus C5050z the only one new camera with F1.8 aperture rite?

Lotsa of comparison of it with the Canon F2.0 aperture G2 at http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...essage=4081963

Why go crazy over f 1.8

f 1.8 and f 2.0 are effectively less than 1/3 stop difference. Can consider the G3 also @ around 1.3k.

However, its a different question altogether if Olympus C5050Z can offer f 1.4

Here's an example of aperture in 1/3 stop increment.
    f 1.0, f 1.2, f1.3, f1.4, f 1.5, f 1.7, f 2.0, f 2.2, f 2.5, f 2.8 ...... and so on.

quite true lah.. I think buy the G2 and save even more money...
although practically, 1/3 stop shd let your 1/20s go to 1/25 or 1/30s, meaning less chance of handshake..
so either G2 or 5050... the G3 is erm well haha I dunno.. new?
