Default Wolf spider?

Hi,

Caught this spider jumping around below my block. Guess it was doing its evening exercise.

bro,

seriously consider getting a macro lens such as tamron 90mm or tokina 100mm if you are on budget. =)

Also, for the pics, the eyes is sharp! but DOF not enough. Maybe should try to stretch to cover the front legs sharp as well. =)

Thanks for sharing. The spider looks very evil to me compared to the others i have seen. Nice catch.

Regards,
tltan

Thanks for the comments, bro. Financially, not capable at the moment even for T90 ... my finance is holding tight to the funds.

Eyes are focused thats good. But the left side of the pic is not too well illuminated, so the shadow part is abit dark.

Great capture but as mentioned before a little more DOF would be better.

I like the shallow depth of field the way it is... Eyes could be a little bit more focussed but its tough to do so... Nice catch!

Thanks kctan, raptor84, Gerl_ho & grado.

Its body (without the legs) is around 7mm. I thought of using the whole of my 55mm extension tube but choose to use 45mm instead to cover the entire body with the legs.

I'm actually quite surprised to saw this fellow around HDB premises.
