15 minutes exposure

The picture hint both interesting idea about the background (star trails) and the figure (vegetation). for the long purpose, one would desire some interesting accumulated lighting, thus presenting a different and fresh view of the landscape.

However, the picture, though with good intention, has been poorly concieved prior to investing that 15 minutes of photon collection.

the background doesnt adds to the supposed atmosphere/mood. it was rather "for the sake of star trails". the foreground figure is uninteresting. since this would be a landscape subject of long exposure, the foreground figure does not appear appealing nor deservingly to be the object of your photographing.

in the end, this moodless photo doesnt demonstrate any reason for long exposure except to have those weak star trails.

it is definitely interesting to see long exposure works of landscape photography. since 15 minutes in the freezing air is no fun, do invest more on composition first. the idea is there, but the choice of elements are lacking.
