Hi All,
I wish to consolidate a list of Land/City-scapes Venues for Night Photography so that it can be used as ideas/suggestions for Night Photography outings or for other Night Photographers to explore. After collecting the ideas, I will generate a new list and put it up as a sticky thread for all to view. Thank you all for your contribution. Let me start the ball rolling then. Star Trails Lim Chu Kang Punggol Area Cityscape Esplanade Raffles Place Old Supreme Court Raffles City

I think taking landscape or cityscape is a good way to start/practice one's night photography skill. Instead of taking wide angle shots most of the time, try to do some close-ups on certain building, part of a building, its gate or doors, etc. Look out for more interesting details especially when shooting in the night, playing with brightness and contrast. It all depends on individual's "art of seeing" and most importantly, one's artistic expression thru night photography. Otherwise all end up with similar pictures which can be very boring. Just my personal opinion.
Anyway here's a list from me: Star Trails
Nocturne (light-painting)
Other locations

Hi Mezzotint,
Thanks again for your contribution. It is a very comprehesive list. Hope to see more suggestions from the rest too.

I think we should not limit ourselves here, The brand new Night Photography, to just landscape photo at night. As Mezzotint mentions, I think we can do abstract shots, portraits, motion blur, or any other shots with the help of the artificial night light.
