Hi,

Just a pointer. The first pix, I believe you are using wide angle lens, next time be mindful of the angle/tilt of your lens, it'll cause unneccessary distortion. Like your first pix, because you point slightly downward, the upper body of the bride looks bigger than the lower body.

2nd pix, the tilt is unneccessary too and the position you're in. You should be facing the couple's front more.

just my dua cents.

I think the tilting is overdone.

Thanks for taking time to look thru. Yes. I definitely agree abt the distortion. It was a situation of no choice for that shot as the bed was blocking my view and I was trying to avoid showing the bed. Thanks for the comment though. Will definitely watch out for the distortion.

For the second shot, I also took a straight shot, is it better like this?

Hi,

Its just my preference only, dun have to do adjustment just for me...
For this shot, I'll prefer a more frontal shot. The couple especially the bride is
facing too away from your camera. not very happening lah...but its just me lor.

Thanks for replying. I think I understand what u mean. Will include that concept into my shoots. Actually, I have a few more frontal shots and also some backdrop shoots (which according to my friends not very traditional Malay poses). I actually got quite bored with my usual shots and decided to try something new for this wedding.

hmm, for both pixs the blinds shd at least pulled to the side, or expose abit.. cos it looks awkward seeing them looking through the blinds.. (to me dat is, not sure bout the rest)

2 possibility dat went through my mind..
1) stuff cld be seen clearly behind the blinds cos its sunny outside and they r quite near the blinds..
2) filter the strong sunlight falling in onto them..

i find the curtains should be drawn abit open by the bride and they look through the opening.
Overall the mood is there.
