could be better if u fix yr zoom better at pic 2. (zoom in a bit more)
increase the iso slighty....
and you are good to capture.

Thanks for your comment. Basically, have been using the same settings as megaweb, except this round I am using exposure between 1 to 3 seconds. Was on the in built fireworks mode which megaweb is also using in his shots. Should be shooting again on Friday and Saturday. Still scouting for other good locations too.
