I was there too.

Also shooting with F30. Notice that the F30 seems to have built in starlight effects for fireworks shots.

How did you get the shots to be so smoke free? Most of mine have the smoke effect after the first couple of shots.

My wife ,2 friends and I arrived around 8.20pm. We saw so many people there too

I was using fireworks mode and set exposure to 4sec.

F30 built-in fireworks mode.

The camera will use ISO 100, f8 and exposure up to 4sec. All settings are fixed.
