S'poreans being S'poreans ... as with past SFF ... they just wacked the fireworks nonstop. The wind wasn't forgiving either. Hence becoming very very smokey

My shots were full of smoke....the wind was blowing towards the city. Which it should means that the people at Esplanade bridge were not spared.

You're real fast.

I'm still post-processing and eating at the same time.

Nice shots there.

It would be perfect if we could be slightly nearer so that the fireworks appear slightly more above the background buildings. But then, it would be shooting from the sea already.

Nevertheless, at least we get some background which identifies Singapore instead of just dark space/sky.

Anyway, nice talking to you along the dark way in.

Thanks for all the replies... i think that the location did help a lot... And also the 2nd time i was shooting SFF... so did pick up quite a bit along the way for the 1st round... yups... and the smoke bit was luck i guess...

Don: Sorry lah... everyone so black black... hard to see you also... and i drove there... so just lucky that we(my bro and i) got home quickly... uploaded onto my new com and then zoto did the rest i guess...

i'll be shooting at the same location (Tg Rhu) tmr for the NDP fireworks... hopefully can get some decent shots... yups... anyone going? Don?

lower down iso to 200(max)...
so that the fireworks will not be overexpose.
