Canon EF 70-300mm DO IS USM

Hi, Where can I get canon 70-300mm DO IS USM ? I have seen reviews and all says the picture is not as sharp as 70-300mm IS USM. But canon's web site says excellent image. Did anyone use it ? Where can I get it for best (low) price ? The compactness and anytime manual attracts me.

Anyway, I've used my friend's one before and I've very unimpressed. You're probably better off with the new EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. Even though it's physically longer than the DO, it's actually lighter... I've seen samples from this lens and it looks pretty good actually.

Don't get that. heard much complaint. if you are really after quality. get the similary priced 70-200mm f/4L lens or the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

Do you have samples from that lens, esp 200mm to 300 mm focal lengths ?

eh??? it has IS man... good stuff to have especially when shooting above 200mm
