I am used one before. Pretty good tripod, value for money. Takes a while to setup because you have to get use to its twist and lock system, but then it is a small matter. Couple it with a good head and you are pretty set for a long time, unless your setup gets heavier.

Tripod newbie here, I have one, it's light and sturdy. But the screw release for the tripod legs is really not as convenient/fast like those clip on release. I am still looking for it tripod head actually, but not sell locally.
    Agetan also own one.

Just got my Feisol about a week or two ago. Order direct from Taiwan 'cos Eastgear doesn't have the 3-section version i wanted. Anyway, compared to my old Manfrotto 190Prob, it's taller, takes 2kg more load, weighs 500g less but costs about 2.5x more.

I'd have to agree about the twist type locking system. It makes it much slower to setup than my old Manfrotto. In terms of sturdiness however, it's very good, especially with a bag hanging from the hook to give it more weight. The tripod by itself is IMHO abit too light to be really planted.

i kinda detest feisol cuz it feels filmsy and the lower legs rotate when you're trying to lock/unlock them half the time.
velbon's legs dont rotate and it's a joy to use them.
but then again they're almost twice the price.
    sigh.
