taken wif the fujifilm M603 p&s camera... everything auto!

cos I always see the two spiders at the zoo... ah beng and ah seng...

thx pal, nice to get encouraging words like these to spur us on; my first time posting pics for critique here

the originals are located in http://www.pbase.com/hanschee/sungei_buloh where there are some other shots on this "series", esp the caterpillar w/ lots of shots!

i wonder if that is really a caterpillar? coz it's abt 12cm long by 2 cm thick, how can it turn into a butterfly later?? too heavy to fly...

The 1st shot shows the caterpillar of the Atlas moth.
They can grow up to 12cm long !

wow! din know there's such a thing...did some research on google and i'm amazed it actually one of the largest moth in the world and is common in singapore!

found it near the mangrove swamp area pathway... the more i look at it, the cuter it looks... seems like it's standing on "four legs" and holding both "hands" together praying that i won't harm it
