Default Early morning abandoned house shoot

been years dat i went exploring to abandoned houses, so last nite gave me a real rush. a fren introduced this place to us. we went it not knowing wat lies ahead. all that we could find out was that there was a mansion in the compund somehwhere.
it was a long walk in, and i mean loooooong, vegetation was abundant, not to mention frogs hopping about. the first builing we came across was a very small one. dissapointed at wat we found, i didnt take any pics of it. so we continued walking in, till we spotted the mansion. kinda creepy since at that point of time we didnt know of its history, it was only after we went in to a certain room at the back, that we saw a trash can thingy dat had the name ISTANA WOODNEUK. i sort of came across that name here, but never actually read that thread.

here are the pics

1. from the outside

2. the entrance

3. one of the many bathrooms/toilets the have

4. from one end of the hallway

5. one of the 2 grand staircases dat have been eaten by the fire

I like the vintage look you applied to the photos. The framing + 'streaks' looks great.

The servants are still inside. Respect them and respect the place.

yep it was early in the mornin, i was there with 2 of my other frens.

the lightsource is actually from our torchlights. as u can see in pic 4 and 5. i placed a fluorescent torchlight dat helped to light the staircase. and i painted the chair with my other small torchlight in pic 5

we went for the adventure and thrill, nothing was added or taken from the place. we knew better. ahah. although it still was creepy none the less

Don't climb the grand stairs. Very unsafe.

Cool pics ! Very nice way of picturing that place !

But, if it was in the middle of the night then how did you take a well expose pic of the entire house from the outside?

Same for the pic of the bathroom, you can see the tree silhouette in the back ground.

The pic of the main room from the second flor with the open roof seems also to have light in the sky.

Seems more that is was the end of the day, of very early morning with little light. But, I may be wrong?

The exif data reveals the mystery.

The first house shot was taken with a 2 minute exposure @ 2.8 and the most of the remainder were 30 sec exposures.

yep, i was struggling to fire my shutter with my wireless infrared trigger, very intermittent.
in the end, i juz used the 30 sec instead of bulb
