Default Shooting the mundane at East Coast

As the title goes, yes I was terribly bored because I was late for the sunset I ended up shooting the mundane. Hope you 'enjoy' them. Any comments/critiques/soft toys, feel free. Cheers!

1. A coconut

2. A beach resort. *yeah right*

3. The coastline

4. The jetty that has no fish

5. Sometimes, I need one of these at work.

Initially I thought the coconut is a big sea snail....
Anyway I love the "A beach resort" & "The jetty that has no fish" shots...

Zoossh: Haha... i think you got the wrong person. I havent been to labrador in a such long time.

kelster: Teach?? Alamak.. I am not good in teaching la boss. PM me your contact no. We can go shoot together and I can show you how to go about doing it.

knoxknocks: Its just simple levelling, dodge and burn and a bit of toning as well. I havent tried the draganizer or grunge effect. Someday I might. Heh. Cheers mate!

Hi hazmee, thanks for the link...can I just ask how do you take the series of pic with diff exposure with the same framing. U used a tripod? But even with tripod, when you change the exposure timing, there will be abit of movement, will it affect the pic? Thanks.

lastboltnut: You have to be more careful when you change your camera settings (i.e. turn the dial). I normally take up to about 5-6 shots per scene.

So far I have no problems with slight shake or movement. I think my tripod is pretty sturdy plus my camera is quite heavy too which adds more stability. The software can align minor shifts. Nothing to worry about actually. Thinking of a good composition is more important. Hope that helps.

Thanks for answering. Another question is, for the coconut pic, in between every shot, did u wait for the wave to be at around the same position then snap?

Thanks!

lastboltnut: I took quite a number shots for that one. Must be patient and wait for the 'right' moment to snap. Hope that answers your question.
