A few observations from your postings,Originally Posted by zoossh
#1, some wedding day photography package come with two photographers to provide coverage, the pair are in a very good coordination how to to provide a total coverage for the whole event, it is not just simple as two photographers shooting,
If a couple already have a pro, and a friend of the couple decide to help, it would not produce the same result as I mention earlier, the sad truth is some couples even have a concept of the more photographers are the merrier.
#2, how a "support" photographer hinder the pros, many other have already mention, and all these are what I always encounter, rest assure, I hardly get mad about these, just feel sorry for the couples only, this also are little parts of what is Nick referring to.
#3, If a couple only want some record shots of the event, anybody with a PnS are able to do that, but if the couple want something more than this, and somebody close to them offer their help by shooting for them (low cost or free), if this photographer able to deliver what the couple wants, that's fine, but if the couple know he can't deliver, and very hard for the couple to tell him they prefer to get someone else, in the end, someone will get hurt, either the couple or the photographer.
