Noticed that all shots were shot wide open,i would go closer to the flowers in Pic 1 and shoot RAW.

#1 is probably the best of the lot for me. I agree that overall, they are all a little under.
Is the summer hot there? Do you need guides for mountain trekking there or can DIY?
Thanks for sharing!

#1 & #3 potentially a good shot.. just do an auto contrast to your pix.. it might help.
I missed Italy especially the language and the hand-signal when they speak and
the small cafe ...

Hi All,

tks for your feedback and comments I'll keep in mind for the future.

Yes overthere is summer and temperature is around 35C. Indeed very hot!
Unfortunately several glaciers start to reduce in size or to disappear. Weather is heavily changing around the globe.

But for all the fans of snow and ice, the Alps still have so many places where to enjoy clinmbing and montaineering from 3000 to apx 5000 mt. It's easy to plan from 3 days to more than 1 weeks deeply immersed in a great mountain environment, but for serious outing is better to get in touch with a local guide, is always better to avoid risks.

Hi Hosea nice to read your comments. Tks a lot for your suggestion, as usual you are very helpful.

Have you been in Italy?
Indeed is a great place. So you like the "espresso" (the small cafe). Me too!

Following your advice I have reviewed 2 pics. What about like this?

#1 Flowers with auto-contrast

#3 Lakes with auto-contrast

Tks

Hi Leo, no problem.. we learn from one another.
Ya.. these 2 shots look nice now....
If u used Nikon Editor, u can add a tad contrast n'-" the brightness a tad.
Btw, this is way of editing is for very elementary PS ppl like me

Ya, I like the expresso and they drink that before sleeping..
I like their bread , hard on outside but soft inside. Was in Italy years ago...on biz trip.

i tried to re-edit your flowers jpeg file mainly by altering the levels and the contrast and a bit on the hue and saturation. unfortunately i chose to forego the details in the sky but i compensate by doing some gaussian blurring to the clouds to create an illusion of movement. i have one unresolved problem though, the left and right sky have a different exposure and by alteration, it became more obvious. i dun have a solution to even out that.

i hope it works for your eyes.

Hi zoossh,

It looks like you have switched on the "light" in my pic.
It looks really different. Tks for sharing your point.

Looking at the re-edited pic I would say that the black frame I have used before is not so nice. As per the version you suggested the pic looks more natural. I like it.
Thank you very much for suggestion and effort. Really appreciated.

Here some more pics about my trekking in the Italian Alps, specifically the pics below are from the Parco del Gran Paradiso, one of the biggest European Mountain park. It's a great place for moutaneering, indeed a place to visit.

Following some comments to my previous pics I have done some minor PP to adj the colour and saturation. I hope you enjoy the view.
Tks for the comments & feedback.

Here some more pics.
My trekking in Italy in the Parco Gran Paradiso was an exiciting one. A great environment where you can enjoy the loneliness of the high mountain or enjoy a friendly talk with other trekkers or just contemplate the great nature surrounding you.

If you like the early/late hours of the day is it very easy to see wild animals moving around. Amazing.

I would like to share few others pics of this great valley where a mountain's river named ORCO is shaping the environment year after year following the flooding of the rain period.

Hope you like those. Pls feel free to comment.
