I have a 380EX and now looking at buying a Canon 350D. Anyone using this combination? If this does not work then I may consider changing to Nikon instead.

All EX flashes are compatible with the 20/10/200/350/1 series D bodies.

Actually I also have 2 other lenses which are canon.
Trying to persuade myself that I don't need to change to Nikon. The 350D brochure did not list 380EX as a suitable flash. Why 350D? I waited 5 years since my 50E to go Digital SLE because I don't want to spend that much on my hobby. Anyway I just use it to take pics of kids and food. Just need something good enough. Also planning to get a Canon 60mm f2.8 Lens for purpose as stated above. Good combination? |

Kids and food maybe a 50/1.8 might be better since 60mm might be too tight in some cases? You might want to buy a second hand 420ex/430/550ex if price is your concern.
