Tot for photoshoot

Hi, am interested to get my toddler girl into some form of photography as a model and like to see if she takes to it well. She's 13mths, fair skinned, about 79cm tall. Truly experimental cos she's never done it before. No fees charged but we'll like to keep some photos if possible. Probably a good go for newbies or those that wld like to build up their portfolio with kid's photography. I have some 'self shot' pix of her if you'd like to take a look or keen on this project, pls email or PM me. Tks.

Didn't quite get the argument in the thread u sent leh, so it's against models/photographers offering free jobs? Even if it's for practice or the experience? Just to clarify, I am not looking for a free portfolio for my girl and neither is this for commercial purpose. As I said my girl hasn't done this before and I'm interested to see how she if she's got any interest, talent etc before we decide on the next step.

think ndroo's point is dat u are asking people to do something for nothing.

how do u want to shoot ur kid? studio environment - ie. 'professionally' done? with lightings? all these incur rental and/or equipment depreciation costs. if u are looking for 'snapshots', perhaps u are better off doing it urself?

u could be a little more specific in ur requests and let people judge whether izit worth the effort to do? IMO, if CSers wanna build up their portfolio with kids' shots, a far easier option is to go to the bugis fountain and really shoot for free.

Oh i c, first time to this so didn't know that this is frowned upon. Basically, I am keen to see if my girl will be comfortable in a commercial photoshoot environment. Locations wise I am open to anything. My only request is that it doesn't take a whole day and I am also open to picking up some of the costs incurred, transport, film etc if it's not too expensive. Just like to know if this will be something she enjoys and if she is able to 'deliver' the kind of shots a photographer is keen on. If so, we'd be open to let her develop from there. I am not after a free portfolio or to take home FREE professional shots of her.

Just to let you know that it is not easy as a 星妈, if this is what you intend to do.

A simple session for a kid only is price at $200 and above usually, and shooting kids it is not easy, if it is easy, you will see lots of studio offer kids' portraits.

You may find someone here to offer to shoot your girl for free, but seriously I hope it will not open a flood gate that many mothers will come here to ask for free shoots for the babies and toddlers.

There is this photographer being mention in singaporemotherhood, his is offering a pormotion for studio family session, check out the comments and the contact there.
