Hi, i'm new to this forum, i'm a guy, currently studying.
I'm totally new to everything and i'm wanting a photographer and perhaps a makeup artist for myself as i intend to capture my youth at its best while i can. Can anyone give me pointers to where to start looking?

u mean u need a photographer to take pictures of you? u also need a make up artist to do the make up for you?

i don't mind doing TFCD as long as you are above 18 yrs old of legal age. interested pls pm me your details.

If you are willing to pay you won't need to look, people will look for you, provided it's a decent amount of course.

Hmm, pay? perhaps a small token sum for both the makeupartist and photographer. TFCD = time for cd right? because basically i need someone to coach me in posing and i dont really look like the perfect model type.

Maybe it would help if you could post a picture of yourself here and let others decide if they want to do a TFCD for you.

Another person trolling for free or rather next to nothing services, wants a CD and a photographer to coach him how to pose. Have I left anything else out??? What about my first born child since you're asking for free stuff.

Wanting "to capture my youth at its best while i can" for a token sum??? Give me a break!!!!

Maybe you would be better off going to "Naughty by Nature" to have them "capture" your youth.

snowspeeder: TFCD, what for not like this guy is going into modelling. Models who sign up with an agency, get this, actually do pay photographers and make-up artists to get photos taken, to put into their books. This guy just wants to "capture" his "youth at its best" for free or next to nothing. I wouldn't bother.

To Kelvin-

When a photographer or make up artist have a better skills, wouldn't want offer their service for nothing.

if you offer nothing to them, you get nothing from them.

You must make an offer that for them feel very interesting to take up, either your money, your look or something else.

Sum it up,
if it is good, hard to get it free, and..
if it is free, hard to get good one.

I think you've got it the wrong idea, i'm not looking for professionals to help me, maybe more to those who needs someone to practise on and as i've been wanting to be taken "model-style" since young and i hope to get some experience in this area. Therefore we could perhaps work something out. There are no free lunches in this world, i dont look like tom cruise nor do i have a body like tom cruise but and again, if they need someone to practise on, i can help.

Ok, FYI, photographers doing for free, you may find some, again, if they have more then one models to chose, they will go for a better one....

But for make up artist........ try harder.

Jus to point out... I personally notice that clubSNAP is pretty harsh on ppl wanting free or low cost services... so a note of advice phrase your sentences properly. Like what catchlights had said, there must be smth 2 tempt us on be it for a professional or even a beginning. Yep =)

No, you are not.
That's whan most people think.

It is easy to get a nice picture for photgraphing a pretty girl.
but it would be very challenging to get nice picture from a plain Jane.

Not a lot of phtographers willing to take up the challenge, also not a lot of photographers able discover the beauty of a plain Jane.

Why not ask your friend or join a photography course?
